Input Modules

The Digital Input Expander allows 4 volt free inputs to be monitored by a single analogue input channel. The resultant analogue value can be decoded by the A to D Function Module in an IQ controller to produce internal digital status bits for alarm monitoring or other status input applications. A pin header allows quick connection to a 4SIM which provides switched mains voltage isolation for applications where volt free contacts are not available.

The Four Switched Input Isolation Module converts 4 separate, 240Vac/ 110Vac inputs, (or 24 Vac/dc inputs) to fully isolated logic outputs. Three output configurations are possible:
1) Four separate outputs for connection to IQ controller
digital inputs.
2) Any of the 4 inputs can be link selected via logical "OR" function to a common output for a connection to a single IQ controller digital input.
3) A pin header and ribbon cable allows quick connection to
a 4DIX module which enables the 4 inputs to be monitored
by a single analogue input channel on a IQ controller. |
